Degatto broke down yesterday... No power, wouldnt turn on... Hopefully its just a power problem...
Update:
no, according to the technician it wasn't the power adaptor.. So am afraid ist something internal... syet! the entire board needs replacement! i can already hear my malnourished pockets screaming in agonizing pain... ironic since i just sold my old desktop a few weeks back so am literally naked... i'll try to buy a lotto ticket today because me thinks i direly need it.... *hikbi*

It just stopped working? A power surge perhaps?
could be... but was using a surge suppresor the time it was still working and later on when it no longer works... anyway banbros said it would cost me at 15k at the minimun for a board replacement... i guess i get what i paid for... i seem to regret now not waiting/saving a bit longer for an ibm branded one with those extended 3 year warranties... *sigh*...
hi migs,
you should try to buy this one so this thing doesnt happen to your lappy...

cheers!
Thanks, but I've sold my Degatto months ago. I'm now using a Micro ATX desktop PC.
good for you...
i think even pc's nowadays need reliable surge suppresors...
for whats it worth, the replacement motherboard seems to be running fine for more than a year now. the degatto is still working well up to now.
Do you have any links to where i could get info on this machine.
Is it worth the buy ?
Can I still get motherboard for this PC and how much ($) ?
Thanks for you input.
