SCIFI.COM | Battlestar Galactica

"There are those who believe... that life here... began out there. Far across the universe. With tribes of humans... who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians... or the Toltecs... or the Mayans... that they may have been the architects of the Great Pyramids... or the lost civilizations of Lemuria... or Atlantis... Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man... who even now fight to survive... somewhere beyond the heavens."

Am halfway thru season 1. I like it. Its a complete package, with sex, politics, war and its science fiction revolving around a fledging group of species in the vast region of space. Spaceships! Its a we reap what we sow themed space adventure. But damn just like the pre-maturely canned Firefly series, rocking plot and wonderfully executed.

Heck even my one year old likes it. Both of us rooting for Galactica's viper squadron whenever Cylon's appear and its time for some space grade dogfights.
